CONSULAR DVD LIBRARY

25/08/2008 - The Consulate of Italy in Durban has pleasure in announcing that we have a rich and varied DVD library dedicated to Italian Cinema, available at our Consular Offices. Amongst the 346 DVD’s available, you are able to find masterpieces of the Italian Cinema, as well as films by famous directors such as Fellini, Corbucci, Monicelli, Scola ect.
There are also different collections of the better known Italian directors’ films such as Mastroianni, Troisi, De Sica, Verdone and Abatantuono, as well as, historic and geographic documentaries on Italy and its’ more popular cities and National Parks.
For lovers of cinematography, we have the “Grandi del Cinema” series with Claudia Cardinale and Luchino Visconti as well as a series of DVD’s about directors such as Carlo Lizzani and Mario Monicelli.
Not forgetting the little ones- we have a considerable amount of cartoon DVD’s.
All DVD’s are in Italian and where specified, have English subtitles.

The hiring of the DVD’s is available to Italian Associations as well as interested Italian citizens. A refundable deposit of R100.00 is to be made upon collection of the selected DVD. 1 DVD per person limit. DVD’s must be returned within 1 Week of hiring.
An e-mail requesting a specific title may be sent to the Consulate at (condurb.mail@esteri.it). A reply will be sent to you, advising whether the title is available and when collection date will be.
